The August Ride wasn’t a ride — it was a 6-day survival test disguised as a road trip. We didn’t just ride through states — we wrestled with nature itself. Odisha gave us its best — Konark’s magic, Puri’s divinity, and Chilika’s majesty. And when the rain chased me all the way home, it felt like the road’s cheeky way of saying: “Congrats, you survived August.”

As we gear up for our endurance ride this August, I found myself looking back at a similar one from 2024 — a 800+ kms journey from East to West, all the way to Gokarna.
That ride had its share of chaos, beauty, unexpected turns, and quiet moments that stayed with me long after the engine cooled

Why ride so far? Why spend hours on the saddle, chasing roads most wouldn’t bother with?
I don’t always have the perfect answer.
